Subscriptions: Adults £5.00 Children. £1.00

Renewal membership should be paid by 31st January.

Members joining after September 1 st to pay half the annual subscriptions.

2. Transport: people accepting lifts for a walk should offer the driver a voluntary contribution towards the costs. This will depend on distance covered and number of passengers.

3. Non members are welcome to attend two walks and then pay the subscription on their third walk.

4. Weekend outings are open to all members who have paid their subscriptions, subject to availability.

5. Children are welcome on walks but if under 14 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult member.

6. Dogs may be allowed on walks at the leader’s discretion. Always ensure that your dog can be easily restrained, particularly on public rights of way across farmland.

7. Publicity: Will walk leaders please let Julie (07799 828326) have details of a walk before the 15th of the previous month and also notify her of any changes to the annual programme.

8. Will walk leaders please make a point of welcoming any new member on a walk and provide information on the club’s policies.

9. Will walk leaders also report any obstructions, poorly maintained bridges etc., on their walk to Richard Heathcote (Derbyshire) 01283 584836 or Alan Ratcliffe (Staffordshire) 01889 562601 so that appropriate action can be taken. Please include map references wherever possible.

10. For details of Sunday and weekday walks please refer to the posters displayed in:

The Library, Leisure Centre, Heritage Centre, (where copies can be obtained),
U3A Notice Board in Wetherspoons, (Wednesday am only),
Uttoxeter Advertiser and Uttoxeter Post and Times Offices.

11. Evening and extra walks will be notified by the publicity officer in the usual way. Details of the club walks can also be found on our website – www.uttoxeterwalkingclub.co.uk.

12. Insurance: The walking club has taken out Public Liability Insurance with the Ramblers Association for its official programme. Participation in any event is entirely at an individuals risk

13. Maps, booklets and leaflets are available from the chairperson. In addition a guide for new walk leaders is available.

14. Walkers are requested to be responsible for taking their own First Aid Kit.
